This is for you if...

• You really don't know much about computers
• You can do simple things like sending an email, finding a web page and writing a Word document, but that's about it.
• If you have to do something you haven't done before, or there's any sort of problem with the computer, you ask someone to help you.

 

Beginner Level tells you about all the tricks criminals use to defraud you online, and how to avoid them. It also gives advice on getting a security check for your computer.

 

This is for you if...

• You're not a computer enthusiast, but you're confident with most everyday computer tasks.
• You know how to find Control Panel, and could install or uninstall a program yourself.
• If you have to use a new program that you're not familiar with, you'll have a go at working out how to use it yourself.

 

Intermediate Level summarises the various types of Internet scams and how to spot them, and shows you how to check your computer to see that it's really secure. There is also advice on choosing the best antivirus program.
